Benefit Analysis of Economic and Social Water Supply in Xi’an Based on the Emergy Method

In order to manage regional water resources efficiently and sustainably promote the rational utilization of resources, it is necessary evaluate water-supply benefit reasonably. On basis emergy theory, this paper constructs water-supply-benefit model economic (industry, agriculture, tertiary industry) social (domestic, employment security, entertainment, scientific research) systems. Taking Xi’an from 2014 2020 as an example, by analyzing energy flow each system multisource transformities, contribution rate, benefit, unit-water-resource value in are calculated. For benefits: Industry > Agriculture Domestic Tertiary industry Employment Security Entertainment Scientific research. values: security system, unit-water were always largest, followed agriculture industry. However, Pearson correlation coefficient between rate output industrial was only 0.52, which less than that other production industries, indicates there might be a waste conservation needs further strengthened. domestic-water-supply benefits water-resource largest.
